Ryan Austin has had a passion for hair starting at a very young age. Upon graduating high school, Ryan left his sleepy town in Pennsylvania and moved to the fashion capital of the world - NYC. In the past eight years Ryan has worked in the most acclaimed and cutting edge salons Manhattan has to offer: Sally Hershberger, Oscar Blandi, and currently Cutler Salon in Soho and Williamsburg. He has worked with elite fashion photographers, Terry Richardson, Mary Ellen Matthews. and Sophie Elgort. Ryan Austin's work has been featured in such publications as Rolling Stone, GQ, Vogue, Schon, Nylon, Ladygunn, Untitled and Billboard Magazine.

Steadily, Ryan Austin has built a cult celebrity following with Charlie XCX, Tove Lo, Lorde, Tinashe, Icona POP, Bridget Mendler, Brooke Candy, Macy Gray, Kate Nash, and Johnny Weir.

A staple at New York Fashion Week, Ryan Austin has worked on Balmain, Kanye West, Hugo Boss, Scotch & Soda, Keno, H&M and Jill Stuart.
